Podcasting: Audacity:http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ Free, open source software for recording and editing sounds. LAME:http://www.guidesandtutorials.com/audacity-lame.html If you are creating podcasts with Audacity you will also need LAME to export them to the MP3 format. The page in the LAME link will show you how to download and save LAME- it's tricky! My best tip is to download and when it asks you where to save select the desktop.
